Frugal meat tip

I thought I would share a frugal meat tip that I use to save money and stretch meat.  I love being able to stretch our grocery budget and either save that money or use it for something else.  I also love reading frugal tips so I thought I would share one with you!

This frugal tip is about London broil roast.  Bilo puts london broil roast on sale buy 1 get 1 free about once a month.  I always buy 4 good sized ones to tide me over for the next sale.  I use them for my crockpot roast, steak fajitas, and sometimes we cut them up into 4 steaks.  They are perfect for all of these meals.

I usually spend about $10-$15 for 2 good sized roasts.  That means I am getting 2 meals worth of meat sometimes more depending on how much of each meal that we get for $5!!  You can't beat that.

To use them for steak fajitas, just slice the meat really thin.  For the steaks, cut it in half width wise then in half again length wise...you will end up with 4 steaks.

Hope this helped you out and inspired you to try it!  Enjoy the rest of your evening!
